The 432Hz Myth

432Hz is frequently claimed to be the "frequency of the universe" or intrinsically healing. However, 432Hz is simply a mathematical convention for concert pitch (where A4 = 432Hz, rather than the ISO standard of 440Hz). There is no peer-reviewed evidence that shifting musical tuning down by 8Hz provides any unique biological or cellular repair capabilities.
